Helping our community one plate at a time

Join us in the fight against hunger & food waste, while promoting healthy eating & togetherness

About Us

The Harbor Dish community cafe is a 501(c)3 created in 2013 to serve the Safety Harbor, Florida area. Harbor  Dish creates delicious food in an environment where individuals needing a helping hand can dine with dignity. We have established a network of community minded people who have built a caring community that utilizes local farmers, businesses, and volunteers to enrich the lives of our patrons and reduce food waste.

We need some helping hands!

The Harbor Dish community cafe is not a soup kitchen. The Harbor Dish follows the successful model of One World Everybody Eats which concept is evidenced in Jon Bon Jovi’s Soul Kitchen wherein the patrons pay what they can or pay it forward for someone else in need. All positions, within the organization, are volunteers.

Help us obtain a cafe space that will allow us to better serve our community and fulfill our mission.

Helping people improve their lives & empowering the local community.

We connect individuals in need to positive influences that will move them forward on their life’s journey. The Harbor Dish Community Cafe is already creating excitement and hope throughout the area. Please join our community and have a seat at our table. We need donations and volunteers to continue serving the community we love.

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.
